Hayden “Buzz” Walsh is the founder of Off Balance and a Chartered Accountant based in Cambridge, New Zealand.
His background includes accounting, tax, Xero, sales, commercial leadership and startups.
That mix is a big part of why Off Balance exists.

Hayden is a Chartered Accountant and started his career in accounting and tax.
He has also spent a large part of his career working in software, sales and commercial leadership, which brings a broader perspective to the advice Off Balance provides.

Hayden has worked across sales, account management, leadership and startup environments, including time at Xero.
That means he has spent plenty of time thinking about customers, revenue, targets and teams, not just tax returns.
That commercial experience shapes how Off Balance works with clients.

Off Balance is currently founder-led, so clients work directly with Buzz on the main accounting, advisory and commercial conversations.
We want the relationship to feel personal and useful, not like you are being passed around a large team.

We work with clients across New Zealand and can handle most accounting and advisory work remotely.
